Se han descubierto múltiples vulnerabilidades en RPM. Las vulnerabilidades se describen a continuación: - CVE-2005-4889: La vulnerabilidad reside en un error en "lib/fsm.c" al resetear los metadatos de un fichero ejecutable eliminado. Un atacante local podría elevar sus privilegios creando un enlace (hard link) a un fichero setuid o setgid vulnerable. - CVE-2010-2059: La vulnerabilidad reside en un error en "lib/fsm.c" al resetear los metadatos de un fichero reemplazado durante su actualización. Un atacante local podría elevar sus privilegios creando un enlace (hard link) a un fichero setuid o setgid vulnerable. |
