Se han descubierto múltiples vulnerabilidades en Lynx 2.8.6. Las vulnerabilidades son descritas a continuación: - CVE-2006-7234: La vulnerabilidad reside en un error en el manejo de los ficheros de configuración ".mailcap" y ".mime.types". Un atacante local podría ejecutar código arbitrario persuadiendo a un usuario a ejecutar Lynx en un directorio bajo su control. - CVE-2008-4690: La vulnerabilidad reside en un error en el manejador de URLs cuando está activado el modo avanzado. Un atacante remoto podría ejecutar comandos arbitrarios mediante una URL "lynxcgi:" especialmente diseñada. |
