Se han descubierto múltiples vulnerabilidades en el protocolo Pragmatic General Multicast (PGM). Las vulnerabilidades son descritas a continuación: - CVE-2008-1440: Se ha descubierto una vulnerabilidad en el protocolo Pragmatic General Multicast (PGM) en Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Server 2003. La vulnerabilidad reside en un error al procesar el campo "option length" de un paquete PGM. Un atacante remoto podría causar una denegación de servicio mediante el envío de un paquete PGM especialmente diseñado. - CVE-2008-1441: Se ha descubierto una vulnerabilidad en el protocolo Pragmatic General Multicast (PGM) en Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, y Windows Server 2008. La vulnerabilidad reside en un error al procesar el campo "fragment option" de un paquete PGM. Un atacante remoto podría causar una denegación de servicio mediante el envío de un paquete PGM especialmente diseñado. El boletín MS08-036 sustituye al MS06-052. |
