Se ha encontrado una vulnerabilidad del tipo desbordamiento de pila en Symantec Backup Exec para Windows Servers en las versiones 10.0, 10d y 11d en el subsistema RPC. La vulnerabilidad reside en una validación incorrecta y en el manejo incorrecto de subsecuencias entradas por el usuario. Un atacante remoto podría causar una denegación de servicio y posiblemente ejecutar código arbitrario mediante peticiones ncacn_ip_tcp especialmente diseñadas. |
