Descripción
Se han descubierto múltiples vulnerabilidades en WireShark. Las vulnerabilidades son descritas a continuación: - CVE-2010-1455: Se ha descubierto una vulnerabilidad en WireShark versiones 0.9.6 a 1.0.12, y 1.2.0 a 1.2.7. La vulnerabilidad reside en un error en el disector DOCSIS. Un atacante remoto podría causar una denegación de servicio mediante trazas de paquetes malformados. - CVE-2010-2994: Se ha descubierto una vulnerabilidad de tipo desbordamiento de memoria stack en el disector ASN.1 VER en Wireshark 0.10.13 a 1.0.14 y 1.2.0 a 1.2.9. Un atacante remoto podría causar un impacto no conocido mediante métodos no especificados. - CVE-2010-2995: Se ha encontrado una vulnerabilidad en SigComp Universal Decompressor Virtual Machine (UDVM) en Wireshark versiones 0.10.8 a 1.0.14 y 1.2.0 a 1.2.9. Un atacante remoto podría causar una denegación de servicio y posiblemente ejecutar código arbitrario mediante métodos relativos a "sigcomp-udvm.c".
